VinoLoire T&Cs

 

VinoLoire is a platform providing transport tours involving wine and tourism activities accessible on the website www.vinoloire-winetours.com or via external booking applications.

 

By using this website and its associated booking applications, you acknowledge and accept the Terms & Conditions listed below.

 

By submitting your payment for any tour, including all activities and attractions, you are accepting these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

 

CONTRACT

A contract is agreed once VinoLoire has accepted a booking you have made in writing (letter, email or via the internet) or by telephone.

 

Services offered by VinoLoire are subject to French and European law. Any disputes arising from the provision of these services will be dealt with under French law.

 

TERMS OF PAYMENT

  • A payment of the total agreed price, at time of booking, to be paid a minimum of 8 days prior is required to secure your place on a tour.
  • Payments may only be made in € (euros), by credit / debit card.
  • In the event of non-payment we will not guarantee your place on a tour and reserve the right to cancel the booking.
  • Until a tour is fully paid for, we reserve the right to make price changes in reaction to tax changes, additional expenses, or other operational needs.

 

CANCELLATIONS BY CLIENTS AND REFUNDS 

  • Refunds for received and acknowledged for cancelled tours, by you or an Agent, will be made on the following basis -
  • Up to 15 days before the booked tour date: total refund
  • Between 9 and 14 days before the booked tour date : 50% refund.
  • 8 days or less before the booked tour date: no refund.
  • Refunds will be made via credit card reimbursement and all charges relating to payment and refund will be borne by the client.
  • There is no reduction to the cost of the tour, on the date, should there be an unplanned decrease in the number of people. 

 

NO SHOW  OR LATE ARRIVAL [FOR SEMI-PRIVATE ONLY]

  • The maximum waiting time of the guides is 15 minutes. After this time it will be assumed you will not be turning up for your tour.
  • There is no refund if you do not turn up.

 

PROGRAMME ALTERATIONS OR CANCELLATION OF A TOUR BY VINOLOIRE

 

  • Unexpected events may cause changes to tour programmes or schedules. In these situations, VinoLoire will make every effort to provide a satisfactory alternative. 
  • VinoLoire is entitled to cancel tours in cases of force majeure (e.g. natural catastrophes, unrest, strikes) or in the event of government action, accidents, technical defects, illness, etc. 
  • If we cancel a tour, VinoLoire will fully reimburse the client, but no compensation or out of pocket expenses will be paid.

 

SEMI-PRIVATE TOURS

 

  • Our semi-private tours are organised for up to a minimum of two to a maximum of eight guests. Clients who book one or two places should be aware that you may/will be joining other guests.
  • VinoLoire reserves the right to accept or reject any tour participant. Any client whose behaviour is judged to be causing problems with the other guests, general public, suppliers or your guide may be removed from the tour. 
  • VinoLoire will not refund or cover any cost or expenses incurred for termination of tour arrangements due to unacceptable behaviour.

 

TRAVELLERS WHO NEED SPECIAL ASSISTANCE ON TOURS

 

  • You must report any disability, mobility issues or food allergies/intolerances requiring special attention to VinoLoire at the time the reservation is made. 
  • We will do our best to accommodate any special needs, but we are not responsible in the event we are unable to accommodate, or if our suppliers are not able to.
  • VinoLoire can not provide individual assistance for walking, eating or getting into or out of our vehicles.

 

LIABILITY

 

  • VinoLoire co-ordinates and arranges the numerous and various services of suppliers before and during a tour. This includes the owners of wineries, snacks or meals, chateaus, activity providers and other attractions visited. Any and all persons or companies engaged in conducting such support services are NOT employees of VinoLoire. 
  • VinoLoire assumes no liability for any loss or damage of personal property, delays, inconveniences, expenses of any kind or injury to the persons traveling on the tour.
  • VinoLoire is not responsible for the default or negligence caused by any person or company engaged in providing any service for a tour, or by any strike, work stoppage, acts of providence, weather or other events beyond our control. 

 

PERSONAL DATA

  • VinoLoire will not use your data beyond the need to contact you regarding your tour.
  • If you purchased wine and are shipping through us, we will use your data to contact you about fulfillment and share with our Shipping company to facilitate delivery and payment of shipping.
