Touraine Wines Afternoon Tour
Enjoy a taste of the diversity of the wines of the Loire Valley. Over a few hours you will discover the white and red wines of the Central Loire. Visiting vineyards, touring wine caves and tasting wines paired with local foods during a fun and informative afternoon.
Your Afternoon Wine Tour Program
- 1:30pm: Pick up in Tours

2pm : Pick up in Amboise
> Transport in a comfortable modern Mercedes minivan

First Touraine Wine Estate:
> Visit of a unique winery with insights into the "Terroir"
> Explanations about the wine making process
> Tasting of classic wines of the central Loire using a variety of methods
> Pairing with local cheeses
- Second Touraine Wine Estate:
> Visit of a family winery
> Discovery of an original and large wine cave
> Wide range tasting of organic wines
> Pairing with local charcuteries (rillettes, rillons, …)
- Around 6pm: Drop off in Tours or Amboise
This half day tour includes:
- Transport in a modern Mercedes minivan
- English speaking Driver/Guide along the tour
- Visit of 2 different wineries
- Large tastings of Sparkling, White, and Red wines
- Discovery of delicious local foods
